COACH CHRISTINA SIM
Coach Christina has been a truly valued coach in Singapore. As our President and Head coach of the club, she works closely with our team members to make sure they’re performing to the best of their ability.
She has been coaching since 2006, with 13 years of coaching experience and teaches both Freeskate and Ice Dance, by incorporating fun and safe elements while coaching the art of skating to beginner and advanced skaters alike.
Her credentials:
NROC Senior Coach (SIN).
Professional Skating Association Master Sport Science & Medicine (USA).
Professional Skating Association Apprentice Program Certified in Freeskate (USA).
Ice Skating Institute Professional Member.
Team Leader to National Figure Skating team members: “Dream Program Korea 2010” & “ISU Development Trophy Competition 2014”
During her competitive years, she clinched 3 Gold medals in Freeskate, Artistic and Pairs, respectively. Served as Judge in S'pore Inter-School Ice Skating Competition 2006 & Skate Asia Winter Classic 2007.
Currently, she still upgrades her coaching skills overseas, in freeskate and ice dance, and continues to pursue even further on her passion and love for ice dancing and in teaching the discipline, transferring her knowledge, to help nurture skaters to their best potentials.
